This is a transformation of Sir Arthur Conan Doyle's classic The Hound of the Baskervilles into a murderously funny adventure, and Sherlock Holmes is on the case. • The Moonlight Players Theatre in Clermont presents The Drowsy Chaperone on Friday and Saturday at 8:00 pm and on Sunday at 2:30 pm (this is the second weekend of the show which continues through February 16). When Mrs. Tottenham hosts the wedding of the year, she gets a lot more than a write-up in the society pages: Janet Van de Graaff, glittering starlet of Feldzieg's Follies, is leaving the stage for love. Hijinks ensue." Tickets are $20 for adults, $15 for students, or $10 for children and can be purchased on their website.

  • The Bay Street Players in Eustis present The Fantasticks on Friday and Saturday at 8:00 pm and on Sunday at 2:30 pm (also the second weekend of the show which continues through February 16). Here's a description from their website: "A whimsical, poignant, and romantic production is an allegorical story that focuses on two young lovers, their meddling fathers, and the journey we all must take through adolescent thrills: the growing pains of hurt and betrayal, the highs of passion, the challenges of distance, and the agonies of heartbreak to discover how to truly love." Tickets are $11 with student ID or $21 for adults and can be purchased on their website.
