Pop, Rock, & Doo Wopp Live: The Clermont Performing Arts Center (3700 S. Highway 27, Clermont) is featuring Bobby Rydell (Volare, Wild One, The Cha-Cha-Cha) along with three guest starring groups: Joey Dee & The Starliters (Peppermint Twist, Shout, What Kind of Love is This), The Mystics (Hushabye, White Cliffs of Dover, Over the Rainbow as heard in The Sopranos), and Stan Zizka & The Del-Satins (Teardrops Follow Me, and songs recorded with Dion like Runaround Sue and The Wanderer). Shows begin at 7:30 pm and tickets can be purchased online for $48.93 - $75.38.

Helena Run Blueway Paddling Adventure: If you are an experienced paddler, join naturalists as they canoe and kayak through Helena Run, Bugg Springs Run, and if everyone has enough energy, into Lake Denham. This event is free - meet at the Singletary Park Boat Ramp (1902 S. 14th Street, Leesburg) at 9:00 am.
Manatees and How They Found Lake County: Did you ever wonder how manatees came to make Lake County their home? Join presenter Maryann Krisovitch from the Lake County Water Authority at 6 pm at the Trout Lake Nature Center (520 E. County Road 44, Eustis) to find out at this presentation. Bring a lawn chair. A $5 donation is suggested.
Movies Under the Stars: Bring your blanket or chair to Clermont's Waterfront Park (330 3rd Street) and enjoy the family friendly movie The War With Grandpa beginning at 8:00 pm. This event happens rain or shine. If you can't make it in March, next month on April 30th is The Karate Kid, and on May 21st you can enjoy Ugly Dolls.

Kid Nature Hike: On this fun hike, children will learn how to be safe while being out in nature. Reservations are required in advance for this free event at the Pine Meadows Conservation Area (2280 Pine Meadows Golf Course Road, Eustis) beginning at 8:00 am.
Family Fun Day in Eustis: From 10:00 am - 2:00 pm, come out to Carver Park (2214 E. Bates Avenue) for an all age free event that includes food vendors, a DJ, video games, basketball, kickball, a home run derby, a chalk drawing contest, bingo, and signups for summer camps and swimming lessons.
Mother and Son NERF War: Boys from grades K-5 along with a mother figure (mom, grandmom, aunt, etc) can take part in a NERF War from 10:30 am - 1:00 pm at this event sponsored by the Leesburg Recreation Department (1851 Griffin Road). Advance reservations are required, bring your own Nerf gun (must use traditional darts, not mega, high impact, or disc), and if you have your own eye protection, bring that along too (if you don't have it, it will be provided and must be worn). The cost is $15 per "couple" with $5 for each additional player. Games will include capture the flag and last man standing. Pizza and drinks will be provided at the end of the event for participants.
Film on the Farm: The Lazy H (23708 County Road 44a, Eustis) will be hosting a Happy Spring Break Y'all free film on their big screen beginning at 5:00 pm. If possible, please bring a donation of $5 per person that will go towards the care of the farm animals. While there, the petting zoo will be open until sunset and baby goat snuggles will be happening! The playground will be open and lit all evening. Bring chairs, blankets, and snacks for the movie at sunset. A small snack concession (self serve) will be in the barn kitchen.

Mount Dora Spring Festival of Arts & Crafts: Enjoy wandering the downtown streets of Mount Dora at this Spring festival with more than 200 exhibitors displaying their arts and crafts. This event is free and it runs on Saturday and Sunday from 9:00 am - 5:00 pm. Use GPS address 341 Alexander Street, Mount Dora to get close to the event. Public parking is available across the street from the Methodist Church (439 E. 5th Avenue). You can also find residents that allow cars to park in their yards for a fee. There are also free shuttles that run from the Golden Triangle Shopping Center (2751 W. Old Highway 441) from 9:00 am - 5:30 pm. Besides arts and crafts, you'll find a free bounce house for kids, wine tasting for adults, food vendors, and entertainment throughout the event both days.
Lake Ridge Winery - Weekends at the Winery: here's a fun weekly event where you can enjoy the expansive vineyard green, delicious food from food trucks, wine, and music. Be sure to bring your lawn chairs this weekend on Saturday from 10:00 am - 5:00 pm or on Sunday from 11:00 am - 5:00 pm; live entertainment, food trucks, and the wine bar will be going from noon - 4:00 pm. Saturday's entertainer will be David Julia, and Sunday will feature Rob Hazen. You can check out the list of food trucks on their website.

Mount Dora Village Market: this event begins at 9:00 am, ends at 2:00 pm, and features local vendors. You can find fresh vegetables, cheese, eggs, seafood, bread, and crafts. This weekly event is held at Sunset Park, 230 W. 4th Avenue, Mount Dora.
What Is An Artifact: If you're interested in learning about Florida artifacts, history, and fossils, you'll enjoy this free presentation beginning at 9:00 am at the PEAR Park Nature Center (4800 University Avenue, Leesburg). Advance reservations are required.
