Friday, December 6, 2019:
Tonight is the Christmas Walk in Downtown Mount Dora from 5:00 - 9:00 pm. Several of the roads will close for this family friendly free event with a holiday street party, live music, Santa, and shopping. There's even snow sledding in Donnelly Park!
Eustis First Friday is tonight from 5:00 - 9:30 pm, a family friendly street party with food, vendors, and live music.
Light Up Clermont from 5:30 - 9:00 pm. There will be the tree lighting, live music, Santa photos, food trucks, and a kids zone.
Light Up Astatula from 6:00 - 9:00 pm. Astatula's tree will be lit along with free food, a gift basket drawing, a Christmas story, carols, Santa photos, and a cake walk.
Come out to the Night of Lights for Tykes at the Mount Dora Boating Center from 6:00 - 9:00 pm and bring a new, unwrapped toy to benefit a child in need. You'll get to enjoy the largest private display of Christmas lights and decorations in Central Florida. You can enjoy this by car, foot, or boat - over two acres of lights and displays. All it takes to get in is an unwrapped toy that will go to the Toys for Tots program.
Saturday, December 7, 2019:
Clermont Hometown Holiday Parade from 10:00 am - 2:00 pm. Enjoy a holiday parade, entertainment, lessons, carols, crafts, and food.
Lady Lake Christmas Parade from 10:00 - 11:00 am. The parade theme this year is "Christmas Rocks."
Mount Dora Christmas Parade from 10:00 - 11:00 am presented by the Lions Club. There will be bands, local organizations, law enforcement, firefighters, council members, and Santa & Mrs. Claus.
Tavares is having it's Christmas Day Parade beginning at 5:00 pm. Afterwards until 9:00 pm, there will be live entertainment and festivities in Wooten Park.
Light Up Montverde from 6:00 - 8:30 pm. There will be the tree lighting, a bonfire, free snacks, carols, Santa photos, and the movie "How the Grinch Stole Christmas."
Leesburg is having it's Annual Main Street Christmas Parade from 6:00 - 9:00 pm. You'll enjoy marching bands, floats, golf carts, and more.
Sunday, December 8, 2019:
Tonight is Light Up Venetian Gardens in Leesburg beginning at 5:00 pm. There will be a holiday season display that you can walk through, food trucks, hay rides, and bounce houses. Entertainment begins at 5:30 pm and the light up ceremony begins at 6:00 pm. The lighted boat parade begins at 6:15 pm.
Now through Sunday, January 5, 2020:
Here's something you don't expect in Florida - it's Eustis on Ice! General admission is $10 per person and includes unlimited skating for the day and skate rental. They have a Sip n' Skate Pass option for $90 that includes 10 skate passes with skate rentals plus 10 drinks. You can use any number of your skate passes each day (meaning you can use them for a large group in one day or spread them out). Hours are usually 3-9 pm on Monday-Thursday, 3-10 pm on Friday, 10 am - 10 pm on Saturday, and 1-7 pm on Sunday. Guests will enjoy skating on real ice! Coin operated small lockers are available for $0.50 while skating.
