Welcome to our Wednesday weekly edition detailing events happening this weekend in Lake County, Florida. Let's see what's going on:


There are plenty of things to do this weekend near your Leesburg rental

Friday, November 1, 2019:

  • It's First Friday Night in Eustis tonight from 5 - 9:30 pm. This family friendly monthly street party promises a variety of food, vendors, and live music.

  • Head out to downtown Clermont for the 1st Friday Food Truck & Music on Montrose Event from 5:30 - 9:00 pm with free admission! 16 food trucks are scheduled including Top Class Jamaican, Monsta Lobsta, Curbside Chef, Willy T's Crabshack, and Ritters Frozen Custard. The Greye Band will perform plus there will be a kids zone, crafters, vendors, shops open late, and adult beverages available from local businesses.


Friday, November 1, 2019 - Saturday, November 2, 2019:

  • This weekend is the 40th Annual Montverde Day Carnival & Music Festival, offering free parking and admission. It's being held at Kirk Park on Friday from 4-10 pm and on Saturday from 9 am - 10 pm. There will be live music provided by Groove Infusion, The Caribbean Crew, The Roaring C's, RockIt Fly, and Country Airwaves. You'll also find a carnival, food vendors, a dog show, contests, raffles, pony rides, a petting farm, a balloon and face painting artist, and more. You can print out an event map and a schedule of events from their website.

Friday, November 1, 2019 - Sunday, November 3, 2019:


The Renaissance Faire is near your Leesburg rental this weekend and next
  • Come one, come all to the Lady of the Lakes Renaissance Faire! The hours on Friday will be 9:30 am - 3 pm, and the hours on Saturday and Sunday will be 10 am - 5 pm. If you can't make it this weekend, it will also be continuing next weekend on Saturday and Sunday. You can purchase one-four day tickets for $16 - $47 per adult or $9 - $25 per child, with the proceeds benefiting Lake County Public Schools. Students are $5 on November 1, seniors are $8 on November 3, and Veterans are $8 on November 10. You can expect to see lots of vendors, merchants, and performers dressed in authentic 16th century costumes. Help Captain Wolfe by participating in the King's Crusade Adventure Game!


Saturday, November 2, 2019:

  • Volleyball fans will want to come out to enjoy Fall Beach Fest at Hickory Point Beach in Tavares today beginning at 8 am. You'll see middle school boys, high school boys, collegiate men, and collegiate men's alumni compete.

  • Florida Urban Agriculture presents the 2019 Autumn Harvest Fest and Farmers Market today from 9 am - 2 pm. There will be train rides, a playground for kids, a face painter, food truck, a General Store, vendor demonstrations, and more at this free event in Groveland.

  • Children aged 8-16 will enjoy Boating Adventure Leesburg from 10 am - 12 noon for $5 (pre-registration is required and can be completed online). They'll learn the basics of boating and will rotate through stations run by the Leesburg Fire Department, the Lake County Sheriff's Office, the Coast Guard Auxiliary, Sea Tow, and Holiday Marine. The session will end with a scenic excursion through Venetian Cove and Lake Harris.

  • It's Food Truck Night at Cagan's Crossings in Clermont tonight from 5 - 8 pm. Enjoy the food trucks, live music, classic cars, craft vendors, and kids activities at this monthly first Saturday event with free admission.

  • Enjoy 1964 - The Tribute to the Beatles at the Clermont Performing Arts Center at 7:30 pm. Four musicians will perform a Paul McCartney, John Lennon, George Harrison, and Ringo Starr. Tickets are $20.00, $25.00, or $30.50 and can be purchased online.


Sunday, November 3, 2019:


There's a dog show near your Leesburg rental this weekend
  • Get ready for the 16th Annual WestMUTTster Dog Show supporting the Humane Society of Lake County from 11 am - 4 pm at Gilbert Park in Mount Dora! There will be food & retail vendors (check out the impressive list online), a huge silent auction, animal adoptions, and a dog show where owners can register their pets to win awards for Best Kisser, Best Costume, Best Hair, Best Trick, Wiggliest Butt, and Junior BFF.


If none of these are catching your interest, there are plenty of other things to do in Lake County Florida that might!
