  • SHINE (Serving Health Insurance Needs of Elders) from the Florida Department of Elder Affairs will be at the Leesburg Public Library from 9:30 - 11:30 am.

  • Enjoy Chair Yoga from 10 - 11 am at the W.T. Bland Public Library. Sit and do yoga poses and stretches. All ages and abilities are welcome.

  • Today's the day for Coffee and a Chat at the Tavares Public Library from 10 - 11 am. New topics and speakers each month followed by coffee.

  • Register for the workshop eBooks and More at the Leesburg Public Library from 10 – 11:30 am.  Learn how to access eBooks, audiobooks, magazines, movies, documentaries, albums, and more from your smartphone or tablet.  Bring your device and library card and make sure you know your user names and passwords.

  • Work on your research at the Summer Genealogical Research Assistance at the Cooper Memorial Library in Clermont from 10 am – 1 pm.  There will be family historians available to assist you in finding your heritage.

  • Register for the workshop Beginning iPad & iPhone at the W.T. Bland Public Library in Mount Dora from 10:30 am – 12 noon.  Learn the basics of how to use your device.  Make sure it’s fully charged before you arrive.

  • Join the Mahjong Social Club weekly at the W.T. Bland Public Library in Mount Dora from 10:30 am – 3 pm.  Make new friends and improve your Mahjong skills.  Sets & cards will be provided.

  • Another place for Mahjong is at the Fruitland Park Library each week from 11 am – 2 pm.  Come out and play, whether a beginner or an advanced player.

  • Register for the workshop Microsoft Word Basics at the W.T. Bland Memorial Library in Mount Dora from 10:30 am – 12 noon.  Learn how to use Word documents and work with templates, formatting, inserting pictures, tables, page layout, printing, and more.  PCs are provided.
