Our current Leesburg rentals are located in Royal Oak Estates, a beautiful gated community located on FL-44 West (also known as South Street) approximately 1.5 miles from US-27 North. Ponds, trees, flowers, and nature abound in this secure community of beautiful homes. The community features one story villas and two story townhouses. If you are looking for things to do, you've come to the right place! There is a large swimming pool that is the center of the community - it's just been refinished and it certainly looks inviting. The great thing about Royal Oaks is it is an any-age community with many of the features you might expect to see in a senior only location. You'll have access to a clubhouse, exercise room (save money by canceling your gym membership), shuffleboard, and a picnic area with grills for outdoor dining. The community was built recently - it began in 1988 and homes were being built up through 2007. The build-out is complete and Royal Oak Estates is a great place for families to live.
Just added to our portfolio is a 55+ rental in Eustis Plaza Condominiums on Kurt Street, just 0.2 miles from 441. It is located in a small community of single story villas and is conveniently located near stores, restaurants, Advent Health Waterman Hospital, doctors offices, banks, and more.
You may be asking if I'm looking for a Lake County rental, why Leesburg? There are plenty of reasons! If you have children, you'll love being so close to Leesburg Elementary School and Oak Park Middle School which are less than a mile away. Once your children are ready for high school, you'll be within two miles of Leesburg High School, just around the corner on US-27. One of my favorite features about Leesburg is that it still has a downtown shopping and dining area. Local businesses take pride in our community and are always doing things to become more attractive to the people that use them. If you like to fish, you've come to the right place! Some of the popular bass fishing tournaments are held on the Harris Chain of Lakes right here in Leesburg! Lake County features over 1,400 lakes that are all a short drive from Leesburg. If you enjoy going to parks, you'll want to check out Venetian Gardens on Lake Harris - there's a baseball stadium, picnic tables, walking paths, and a playground for the kids.
Shopping is plentiful in the area. For groceries, you'll find yourself a short distance away from the Publix at Palm Plaza (within 3 miles) and from the Winn Dixie and Publix supermarkets on US-27 and FL-48 (less than 6 miles). There are also plenty of smaller grocery marts in the area. If you prefer the big-box stores, the Leesburg Walmart Supercenter (4 miles) and Sam's Club in Lady Lake (11 miles) may be where you'll want to shop. The Lake Square Mall (9 miles) features stores and entertainment - check out Via Entertainment where you can bowl, play arcade games, race go-karts, and let your kids have a blast at Kid's Corner, the indoor playground with bounce houses, play houses, toys, and an interactive ball pit. There's even ice skating at Winterland in the mall! Take in a movie while you're there at the AMC Theatres with cozy rocking seats, luxury signature recliners, IMAX, Dolby Cinema, and more as options.
Let's talk about what's not far from here. The Villages are within 9 miles of Royal Oak Estates - the town center known as Brownwood Paddock Square features dining, nightly entertainment, shopping, and another movie theater called Barnstorm. The other Villages town centers are also close by - you'll be 11 miles from Lake Sumter Landing and 12 miles from Spanish Springs; both feature everything that you'll find in Brownwood... more dining, shopping, live entertainment, and movie options. Disney World, Sea World, and Universal Studios can be easily accessed via the turnpike. If you enjoy the ocean and the gulf, they are within driving distance as well.
